Ok, so I don’t really watch T.V. as it meddles with my online time; besides, there aren’t enough interesting programs on the tube (except for the cooking/chef programs). But I religiously watch Miami Ink with my siblings; come 11 pm, we drop everything we’re doing, congregate in front of the TV set in the living room with our mugs of coffee and just laugh our hearts out.
These guys, aside from being great artists (I’m a fan of Chris Garver’s), are juvenile delinquents! In Filipino – kakulit na mga bata. I myself wouldn’t think about getting a tattoo as I can’t stand pain, but watching these guys remind me of my real guy pals. I don’t see my friends regularly nowadays as they’ve all gotten married and some have moved abroad. So the Miami Ink guys are sort of their substitute.
Alas, good things don’t last and the preview of the show ended tonight; so I’ll just wait for another month or two in case my cable company decides to bring it back for another preview run. In the meantime, I’ll have to get my juvenile fix somewhere else…hmmm…Entourage!
