So my sister was trying to find a copy of Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes” because she thought it was a very nice song. She told me that the song was for actress Rosanna Arquette who used to be Gabriel’s girlfriend. I’ve always known that the Grammy Award winning song “Rosanna” by Toto was also named after her (she dated Toto’s Steve Porcaro; the band sadly, has folded up recently), but was clueless that another song was dedicated to her. I think she must have been a really cool girl (and perhaps, still is) to have inspired musicians to compose songs with her in mind. So now, I wonder, could I be that memorable?

i love In Your Eyes… it’s one of the songs my hubby used to “sing” and play on the guitar during our early years… didn’t know it was for rosanna arquette…hehehe..thanks for the info…
